Gallery Reception at Salem Arts Association 

Join us at Salem Arts Association to help kick off the Salem Arts Festival and our latest exhibitions.

In the galleries we are featuring five exhibitions. We’er excited to host our first gallery reception in our new home at 159 Derby Street.

Exhibitions:

"Art Walk"

The Salem Arts Association ArtWalk features  posters of artwork by Salem Arts Association members displayed throughout Downtown Salem at supporting business establishments. A map will be available at Salem Arts Gallery with participating locations and artists. 

“Drawn Together” 

An exhibit of artwork produced during the Drawn Together sessions. Every Tuesday night since 2016 Sue Grillo and Beki Ferrari have put together uniquely eclectic scenes featuring live models as inspiration for drawing. This is an exhibit of these drawings curated by Sue and Beki.

"Prima Vera”

Primavera - from the Italian - "in the style of springtime."  In “Primavera” Salem Arts Association invited the community to share work in all mediums around the themes of the spring season, fresh starts, healing and any other interpretation applicable to this theme.

"Image Imagination”

Image / Imagination is an exhibit that considers the way the artist imbues artwork with their personal statement.  All art can be viewed as an imaginative interpretation of the physical world.  Exhibited work includes but is not limited to surreal art, fantasy art, dystopic images, wearable apparel that serves as a costume or disguise and masks.  

"Paul Nathan”

We're proud to host a rotating collection of Paul Nathan artworks. Nathan's unique process starts with acrylic paintings which are then photographed and composed as collage creating a whimsical and wonderful world uniquely their own. 

"Masters Circle"

Salem Arts Association presents a small works exhibit of our Master Circle Artists showing the community what they have to offer in all of their diverse styles and artistic disciplines.
