Inventory Take In - Creative Collective Merchant Marketplace in October on the Essex Street Walking Mall

Salem Arts Association will have a 10x10 mobile shop in a prime location on Essex street during the Creative Collective October Market.  

The Market, containing more than 100 vendors on Essex and Derby streets, will be three weekends prior to Halloween from 11am -5 pm.
October 13 & 14, October 20 & 21, and October 27 & 28.

Salem Arts Association members are invited to submit work to be sold at the market. Items such as prints, jewelry, pottery, and other small art pieces as well as Salem Arts Association merchandise.

Take in for Creative Collective Market will be at SAA, The Bridge at 211, on the following dates:

Sunday, September 30 from 4-7
Sunday, October 7 from 3-6

All Artists are required to have a 1-2 page Artist Bio/Statement at the time of submission.

ALL Artists who display are required to volunteer for at least 1 3-hour shift during the market (2 people each shift)

Members may submit the following for the SAA booth at the Creative Collective October market:

• 5 pcs. of framed artwork or wall hanging (20”x24” maximum size)**
• 10 pcs. of  stand-alone jewelry, ceramic, pottery, glass, sculpture or wearables. Jewelry submissions should include a display if possible.
• 15 pcs. of matted prints, cards, or publications.
• Individual cards or boxes of cards

Inventory sheets will need to be filled out and updated when entering artwork.  Unsold work may be picked up on October 28 from 6-7pm at SAA, The Bridge at 211.  Artwork that has not been picked up will be displayed in the gallery shop until pick-up arrangements have been made.

Please bring a liberal supply of business cards. 

All items must be ready for display if they have unique display needs. for example if you make earnings or jewelry you must provide displays. We will provide print racks and card racks. 

Participating artists must sign up to volunteer at the tent and shop. This is your opportunity to reach tens of thousands of customers. 

Our location will be at the Salem Green pathway next to Salem Five Bank.
