Artist Membership Benefits

• Free or discounted SAA classes, programs, and events
• 5% discount in the SAA Gallery and from member artists during official SAA-sponsored sales/shows
• Discounts from local businesses and organizations including:·          

• Voting privileges
• Artist listing with blurb, images, and URL on the SAA website
• Eligibility to submit work to member exhibitions/events
• No fee submissions to open exhibitions/events
• Eligibility to have work for sale in the SAA Retail Store
  

Artist Membership Requirements

• Artist members are required to work at least 4 hours per year on SAA activities.  Staffing the retail store fulfills this need.
  
• Artist Members must meet certain documentation requirements as described in the process listed here.

Artist Membership Levels and Dues

• Individual - $50 / year

• Household - $80 / year
  

Individual artists benefits for up to four (4) people in the same household.
You will be able to log in to your account after payment confirmation to additional household members.

• Volunteer - $25 /year ($25 discount off the Individual Rate)
  

For artists who volunteer at least 25 hours for committee work or special projects during their membership year.  This time must be in addition to staffing the Gallery and Retail Store for 4 hours each month in which the artist has items for sale.

• Student - $15/ year ($35 discount off the Individual Rate)

For students attending any educational program at least half-time (proof of enrollment required).

Please email your proof of enrollment to the membership committee in order to receive the discount code prior to applying or renewing.

• Household Volunteer - $50 / year ($30 discount off the Household Rate)

Benefits for up to four (4) people in the same household whose members volunteer at least 50 hours (collectively) as described for the volunteer membership above.
